When practicing the Loving Kindness meditation, we silently repeat certain phrases that express kind wishes – first for ourselves and then for others. In the Loving Kindness meditation we are acknowledging our connectedness. The power of the practice, however, lies in your ability to focus your all attention and all your energy into each phrase.
The effects of this practice can be profound, as it will help you to see the good in yourself as well as in others and thereby inspire you to live a more balanced and compassionate life.
