Somethings are good for you eventhough they may not seem very appealing – sellery juice and the pigeon family of yoga poses are a bit like that. However, luckily some of us like a challenge and these angry birds truly offer that.
The poses are difficult to attain, balance, hold and endure, but if you are looking to grow your practice and dive deep into the tissue of our hip flexors, Maj is sure to guide you safely and lovingly all the way.
This is the climax of the the Hip series, and it is advised to do "Honey, I'm Home" before undertaking this class. Do NOT do this practice in the morning or without warm-up.

According to yoga anatomy, we store whatever we cannot deal with in the present moment in the hips. For most of us dealing with the present moment is hard in itself, and this can show up as physical tightness, bad posture as well explosive emotional outburst - or the exact opposite: an apathetic attitude and feeling of numbness.
